EMT-I (Intermediate) Certification

Dates: Nov 11, 2008 – Feb 25, 2009 (see entire schedule here)

Time: 6-10 PM

Place: 4th Floor Multi-Purpose Room- Perry's Medical Office Building

Description: The EMT-B course is for the person interested in beginning level EMS. This course teaches airway management and bleeding control, splinting, bandaging, and medication administration. This course is for those who are interested in pursuing a career in EMS. A GED or high school diploma is required.

Cost: $225, for members of OSF Northern Illinois EMS. $275, for
non-members of OSF Northern Illinois EMS. Snacks for the evening
classes and breakfast and snacks on the week-end days are included.
