EMT-I (Intermediate) Certification

Dates: September 11 – April 2008 (see entire schedule here)

Time: 5-10 PM

Place: 4th Floor Multi-Purpose Room- Perry's ACF Building

Description: The EMT-I course is for the person interested in intermediate level EMS. This extensive course teaches advanced airway management and bleeding control, intravenous therapy and medication administration. This course is for EMT-Basic’s who are interested in pursuing a career in EMS. A current EMT-B license and valid CPR card are required.

Cost: $1250, which includes all textbooks and certifications (ACLS, PEPP and PHTLS). $625 is due by July 1st with the balance due no later than August 15. Snacks for the evening classes and breakfast and snacks on the week-end days are included.
