First Responder Course

Dates: August 7,9,11,12,14,16,21

Time:7:30 AM – 5:30 PM on Aug 11 & 12,
6 PM – 10 PM all other days

Place: 4th Floor Multi-Purpose Room- Perry's ACF Building

Description: The First Responder course is for the person interested in entry level EMS. This 40 hour course teaches basic airway management and CPR along with bleeding control, elementary splinting, bandaging and emergency childbirth. Additionally, there is an introduction to Terrorism. This course is for Police Officers, Firefighters and the interested public. Persons living in the small villages in Bureau County are particularly encouraged to attend.

Cost: $225, which includes textbook, CPR training and snacks for the evening classes and breakfast and snacks on the week-end days.
