First Responder Course

Place: 4th floor Classroom in the Medical Office Building

Description: The First Responder Course is intended for anyone who possesses interest in learning emergency medical skills and knowledge, to assist persons who have sustained an accidental injury or who suffer from a sudden illness or medical problem.

This course follows a nationally recognized curriculum.  Upon successful completion, participants will be recognized as First Responders through the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH).

Cost: $225, which includes textbook, CPR training and snacks for the evening classes and breakfast and snacks on the week-end days.
