PROFESSIONAL POSITIONS:

Director of Clinics: Applicant will be responsible for the overall operational procedure of Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Clinic and the Family Health Clinic. Bachelor’s Degree preferred, minimum five years’ experience in physician clinic management, knowledge of medical terminology required. Linen Worker: Two Positions; 1.) Part time 24 hours a week days AND 2.)  As needed Basis. Applicants must possess good communication skills and ability to work independently. Medical Records Clerk: Medical Records Department; 32 hours a week, days. Applicant must be High School graduate with computer experience required. Candidate must have ability to type 35 WPM with accuracy; accurate speller with good communication skills. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling and motor coordination to work with equipment.

Central Scheduler:  Business Office; Full time, days. Applicant must have computer experience, familiarity with medical terminology, and basic mathematical skills. Candidate must have ability to type 25 WPM with accuracy and attention to detail. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling and motor coordination to work with equipment.

Coordinator: Medical Records Department; Full time.  Applicant must be certified coder with knowledge/training of ICD-10; two years’ experience working in medical records department; experience in a coding position; supervision experience preferred.  Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.

Telepage Operator: Business Office, 20 hours per week, primarily night shift but varied hours, including weekends. Applicant must possess High School Diploma or equivalent. Candidate must have basic computer skills with ability to work unsupervised. Previous switchboard experience preferred. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling and motor coordination to work with equipment.

Helpdesk Technician: Technology Services; Full time, days, some weekends. Applicant must have two years’ experience with Windows Operating Systems, word processing and spreadsheet programs, with typing skills required. Candidate preferred to have Associates, Technical or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Operations/Science or related field and one to two years’ experience with software installation, maintenance, compatibility and troubleshooting. Requires good telephone and customer service skills. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling and motor coordination to work with equipment.

Certified Coder: Medical Records Department; Full time, days. Applicant must be High School graduate with courses in keyboarding, anatomy and physiology and computer experience required. Candidate must be Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Coding Assistant (CCA). Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.

Food Service Worker:  Dietary Department;  Two Positions –  32 hours per week, varied hours and shifts, weekends.  Applicant preferred to have experience in quantity food preparation, cashiering and have Food Sanitation certificate.   Candidate should have good communications skills and ability to work independently.  Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling and motor coordination to work with equipment. 

Dietary Aide: Dietary Department; 8 hours per week, varied shifts, some weekends. Applicant must have good communication skills and ability to work independently; experience in quantity food preparation preferred. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.

Biller:  Business Office; Full time, days.  Applicant must be High School graduate with computer and accounting or cashier experience preferred.  Medicare/Medicaid billing and follow-up experience also preferred.  Candidate should have ability to type 25 wpm accurately with attention to detail required.  Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.

 Clinic Receptionist:  Perry Memorial Family Health Clinic; As needed, varied hours and occasional weekends.  Applicant must be High School Graduate with some computer experience.  Candidate is preferred to have previous experience in physician office answering the telephone and scheduling appointments with medical terminology knowledge.  Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.

 Registrar : Business Office;  Part time, 24 hours per week, varied shifts,  every other weekend.  Applicant must possess High School diploma or equivalent; have computer experience and ability to work varying shifts.  Candidate must have ability to type 25 wpm with accuracy and attention to detail and will cover for switchboard as well.  Knowledge of medical terminology preferred, and excellent customer service skills are required.  Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment. 

 CLINICAL POSITIONS:

Surgery Department: Perioperative Coordinator; Full time, days with call. Applicant must have diploma, Associates of Bachelors’ of Science Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing with one year of previous experience in a surgical setting. Candidate must have current and valid license with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation and current CPR, PALS and ACLS certifications preferred and required after one year of employment. Position requires critical decision making ability in emergency situations; good communication skills; ability to work independently; ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling and motor coordination to work with equipment.

Sleep Lab Technician: Respiratory Department; as needed position. Applicant must be High School graduate or equivalent and have successful completion of a Sleep Lab training program with current BLS certification. Candidate is preferred to have Sleep Lab experience. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling and motor coordination to work with equipment.

Respiratory Therapist:  Respiratory Therapy Department ; Part time nights,  24 hours per week.  Applicant must be a graduate of a two year AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program and be registered or certified with the National Board of Respiratory Care.  Candidate must have good communication skills and ability to work independently.  Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment. 

Pharmacist: Pharmacy Department; Part-time, one weekend per month. Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited pharmacy program and be licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Professional Regulation to practice pharmacy. Candidate will be required to have critical decision making ability in emergency situations; computer word-processing skills; good communications skills and the ability to work independently. Registered Nurse: Special Procedures Department; Part time 32 hours a week, days with call. Applicant must possess Diploma, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in nursing and have valid and current license with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation; current CPR, ACLS and PALS preferred and required after one year of employment. Candidate must possess basic computer skills, good interpersonal communication skills and ability to work independently. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.

 Registered Nurse:  Family Acute Care Unit; Two Positions, part time 32 hours a week evenings and part time 24 hours a week evenings ; rotating weekends.   Applicant must possess Diploma, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in nursing; valid and current license with IDPR; and PALS preferred.  Previous pediatric nursing preferred; one year acute care nursing experience preferred.  Position requires ability to work independently; ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling; motor coordination to work with equipment.

Registered Nurse:  Surgery Department  32 hours a week, day shift, with on call.  Applicant must possess Diploma, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in nursing;with valid and current license with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation.  Candidate preferred to have ACLS Certification and required within one year.  PALS preferred.  Previous surgery experience preferred.  Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment. 

Registered Nurse:  Emergency Department;  PRN position.   Applicant must possess Diploma, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in nursing; valid and current license with IDPR; current CPR, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP and ECRN preferred and required after one year of employment; one year of ED experience required.  Candidate must possess basic computer skills, good interpersonal communication skills and ability to work independently.  Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.

  Speech-Language Therapist:  Rehabilitation Services; as-needed basis, possible Saturdays.  Graduate of an approved school of Speech Therapy; licenses or license eligible in the State of Illinois as required by law.  Good interpersonal communication skills; ability to work independently; ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling; motor coordination to work with equipment and understanding of rehabilitation and medical terminology. 

 Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant / Occupational Therapist:  Medical Rehabilitation Services; as needed Basis.  Candidate must demonstrate competency in Occupational Therapy through previous work experience and/or student/clinical affiliations; maintenance of competency through active participation in continuing education courses; graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy or of OT Assistant; licensed.  Candidate must possess good interpersonal communication skills with understanding of rehabilitation and medical terminology and ability to work independently.  Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.
