Vice President of Financial Services/Chief Financial Officer: Financial Services Department; Full time. Applicant must have Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Management; CPA preferred with progressive management experience in a hospital environment. Candidate must have previous experience as a Controller, Assistant CFO or CFO with 5 years experience in Critical Access Hospital preferred. Position requires critical and strategic thinking with sound decision making ability, knowledge in personnel administration, organizational management, good interpersonal communication skills and leadership abilities necessary to direct activities through department directors. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling and motor coordination to work with equipment. NON CLINICAL POSITIONS:

Clinic Receptionist: Perry Memorial Family Health Clinic; Full time days, varied hours and occasional weekends. Applicant must be High School Graduate with basic computer experience. Candidate is preferred to have previous experience in physician office telephone customer service and registering/scheduling appointments with medical terminology knowledge. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.         

Food Service Worker: Dietary Department; 12 hours/week varied hours and shifts, and some weekends. Applicant preferred to have experience in quantity food preparation, cashiering and have Food Sanitation certificate.   Candidate should have good communications skills and ability to work independently. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling and motor coordination to work with equipment.

Dietary Aide: Dietary Department; 8 hours per week, varied shifts, some weekends. Applicant must have good communication skills and ability to work independently; experience in quantity food preparation preferred. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.    

RECENTLY UPDATED! Housekeeper: Housekeeping Department:  as needed, varied hours and occasional weekends & a 36 hour/week evening position open. Candidate must possess good communication skills and ability to work independently. NEW! Registrar: Business Office; Part Time, 16 hours/week, varied hours, must be available to work weekends. Applicant must possess High School diploma or equivalent; have computer experience and ability to work varying shifts. Candidate must have ability to type 25 wpm with accuracy and attention to detail and will cover for switchboard as well. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred, and excellent customer service skills are required. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.  

 

 CLINICAL POSITIONS

NEW! Registered Nurse: Family Acute Care Unit; Part time 32 hours a week 3pm-11pm; rotating weekends. Applicant must possess Diploma, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in nursing; valid and current license with IDPR; and PALS preferred. Previous pediatric nursing preferred; one year acute care nursing experience preferred. Position requires ability to work independently; ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling; motor coordination to work with equipment.

NEW! Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): Family Acute Care; 8 hours a week 7-3, rotating weekends. Applicant must have high school diploma or equivalent and have successfully completed Certified Nurses’ Assistant course; enrollment in a school of nursing program and previous nurse aid experience preferred. Candidate must be willing and able to complete training as required. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.  

NEW! Registered Nurse: Surgery Department (PACU/OR); 32 hours/week, days with rotating on call. Applicant must possess Diploma, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in nursing; valid and current license with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulations. Candidate required to have ACLS and PALS Certification. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment. 

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): Special Procedures; Evenings, 8 hours/week. Applicant must be a High School graduate. Candidate must have a valid and current CPR certification and the position requires a Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA). The position requires basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to work independently Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, motor coordination to work with equipment, ability to understand oral/written instructions, and the understanding of medical terminology.

 RN Coordinator:  Emergency Department:  Full time, days.  Applicant must have Diploma, Associate or Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing; one year of previous experience in ED; current and valid license with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation; current CPR, PALS, ACLS, TNCC or TNS, NRP and ECRN certifications preferred and required after one year of employment. Supervision experience preferred. Position requires critical decision making ability in emergency situations, excellent communication skills; ability to work independently; ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling; motor coordination to work with equipment.

Infection Control Practitioner: Care Management Department.  Part-time 24-hours/week, days. Applicant must possess Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred; current and valid license with IDPR; minimum of three years clinical experience with a wide variety of experience clinical care settings preferred. Certification in infection control (CIC) obtained through APIC preferred and required within two years of hire. Position requires accuracy and attention to detail; good communication skills; ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling; motor coordination to work with patients and equipment.                 

Clinic Nurse: Perry Memorial Family Health Clinic; Full time, days. Applicant must have diploma, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in nursing with valid and current license with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation and current CPR certification required. Candidate preferred to have three years physician office experience. ACLS and PALS also preferred. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling and motor coordination to work with equipment.                                                                                                       

Registered Nurse: Emergency Department.  As-Needed PRN position.  Applicant must possess Diploma, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in nursing; valid and current license with IDPR; current CPR, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP and ECRN preferred and required after one year of employment; one year of ED experience required. Candidate must possess basic computer skills, good interpersonal communication skills and ability to work independently. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.

Registered Nurse: Intensive Care Unit. Part-time, 36 hours a week, 7pm to 7am., rotating weekends. Applicants must possess an Associate’s Degree in nursing, Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing preferred with one year previous acute care nursing experience also preferred. Candidate should have current and valid license with IDPH and ACLS and PALS is preferred and required after one year of employment. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.

Unit Secretary: Surgery Department; Fulltime, Position requires Certified Nursing Assistant Certification. Applicant must be high school graduate with valid and current CPR certification.  Position requires basic typing, computer and math skills with proficiency in English and spelling   Candidate must have good interpersonal communication skills with ability to work independently.  6Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling; motor coordination to work with equipment; ability to understand oral/written instructions; understanding of medical terminology.

Pharmacist:  Pharmacy Department.  Part-time, one weekend per month.  Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited pharmacy program and be licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Professional Regulation to practice pharmacy. Candidate will be required to have critical decision making ability in emergency situations; computer word-processing skills; good communications skills and the ability to work independently. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, and motor coordination to work with equipment.

 Speech-Language Therapist:  Rehabilitation Services; As-needed PRN position, possible Saturdays.  Graduate of an approved school of Speech Therapy; licenses or license eligible in the State of Illinois as required by law.  Good interpersonal communication skills; ability to work independently; ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling; motor coordination to work with equipment and understanding of rehabilitation and medical terminology. 

Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA):  Medical Rehabilitation Services.  As-needed PRN position.  Candidate must demonstrate competency in Occupational Therapy through previous work experience and/or student/clinical affiliations; maintenance of competency through active participation in continuing education courses; graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy or of OT Assistant; licensed.  Candidate must possess good interpersonal communication skills with understanding of rehabilitation and medical terminology and ability to work independently.  Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.
