PROFESSIONAL POSITIONS:

 Clinic Family Nurse Practitioner:  Physician Clinics; Full time, days, call rotation.  Registered Nurse, Master’s degree level; Family Nurse Certification licensed to practice in the state of Illinois; current CPR required, ACLS and PALS preferred; computer experience. Three or more years FNP experience preferred.  Nursing experience in primary care and/or emergency medicine a plus. NON CLINICAL POSITIONS: 

Food Services Worker:  Dietary;   32 hours per week, varied hours and shifts, weekends.  Applicant preferred to have experience in quantity food preparation, cashiering and Food Sanitation certificate.   Candidate should have good communications skills and ability to work independently.  Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling and motor coordination to work with equipment. 

Linen Worker:  As-Needed Basis.  Applicants must possess good communication skills and ability to work independently.  Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling and motor coordination to work with equipment.

 Registrar – Business Office:  Part time, 24 hours per week, varied shifts,  every other weekend.  Applicant must possess High School diploma or equivalent; have computer experience and ability to work varying shifts.  Candidate must have ability to type 25 wpm with accuracy and attention to detail and will cover for switchboard as well.  Knowledge of medical terminology preferred, and excellent customer service skills are required.  Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment. 

Telepage Operator:  As needed basis.  Applicant must possess High School Diploma or equivalent.  Candidate must have basic computer skills with ability to work unsupervised.  Previous switchboard experience preferred.  Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling and motor coordination to work with equipment. 

 CLINICAL POSITIONS:

Registered Nurse:  ICU Department:  Part-time, 36 hours a week, 7pm to 7am., rotating weekends.  Applicants must possess an Associate’s Degree in nursing, Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing preferred with one year previous acute care nursing experience also preferred.  Candidate should have current and valid license with IDPH and ACLS and PALS is preferred and required after one year of employment.  Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment

 Pharmacy Technician:  Pharmacy Department – 32 hours per week, days and weekends.  Applicant must have High School Diploma as well as Pharmacy Technician Licensure from the State of Illinois.  If licensed as an Illinois Pharmacy Technician after January 1, 2008, must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician.  Candidate must be a good team worker; follow directions accurately and completely; have computer word-processing skills; good communication skills and be detail oriented. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling and motor coordination to work with equipment.

Registered Nurse:  Surgery Department32 hours a week, day shift, with on call.  Applicant must possess an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in nursing with valid and current license with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation.  Candidate preferred to have ACLS Certification and required within one year.  PALS preferred.  Previous surgery experience preferred.  Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment. 

 Registered Nurse:  Emergency Department:  PRN position.  Applicants must possess an Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in nursing; valid and current license with IDPR; current CPR, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP and ECRN preferred and required after one year of employment; one year of ED experience required.  Candidate must possess basic computer skills, good interpersonal communication skills and ability to work independently.  Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.

Certified Nursing Assistant:  Family Acute Care; 4 positions;  36 hours, days;  8 hours a week, days; 24 hours a week, evenings AND Full time, nights; rotating weekends. Applicant must have high school diploma or equivalent and have successfully completed Certified Nurses’ Assistant course; enrollment in a school of nursing program and previous nurse aid experience preferred.  Candidate must be willing and able to complete training as required.  Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.

  Speech-Language Therapist:  Rehabilitation Services.  As-needed basis, possible Saturdays.  Graduate of an approved school of Speech Therapy; licenses or license eligible in the State of Illinois as required by law.  Good interpersonal communication skills; ability to work independently; ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling; motor coordination to work with equipment and understanding of rehabilitation and medical terminology. 

 Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant / Occupational Therapist:  Medical Rehabilitation Services; As-Needed Basis.  Candidate must demonstrate competency in Occupational Therapy through previous work experience and/or student/clinical affiliations; maintenance of competency through active participation in continuing education courses; graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy or of OT Assistant; licensed.  Candidate must possess good interpersonal communication skills with understanding of rehabilitation and medical terminology and ability to work independently.  Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.
