Clinic Family Nurse Practitioner:  Physician Clinics; Full time, days, call rotation.  Registered Nurse, Master’s degree level; Family Nurse Certification licensed to practice in the state of Illinois; current CPR required, ACLS and PALS preferred; computer experience. Three or more years FNP experience preferred.  Nursing experience in primary care and/or emergency medicine a plus. Candidate must possess good communication skills and knowledge of collection practices and laws.  Position requires accuracy and attention to detail, ability to operate a 10-key calculator and to input data into a terminal quickly and accuratelyability with ability to type 25 WPM.  Position requires the ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling; motor coordination to work with patients and equipment.

NEW! Clinic Receptionist: Perry Memorial Family Health Clinic; Full time days, varied hours and occasional weekends. Applicant must be High School Graduate with basic computer experience. Candidate is preferred to have previous experience in physician office telephone customer service and registering/scheduling appointments with medical terminology knowledge. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.         

Recently Updated!  Food Service Worker: Dietary Department;  32-hours/week & 16-hours/week, varied hours and shifts, weekends. Applicant preferred to have experience in quantity food preparation, cashiering and have Food Sanitation certificate.   Candidate should have good communications skills and ability to work independently. Dietary Aide: Dietary Department; 8 hours per week, varied shifts, some weekends.  CLINICAL POSITIONS

NEW!  RN Coordinator:  Emergency Department:  Full time, days.  Applicant must have Diploma, Associate or Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing; one year of previous experience in ED; current and valid license with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation; current CPR, PALS, ACLS, TNCC or TNS, NRP and ECRN certifications preferred and required after one year of employment. Supervision experience preferred. Position requires critical decision making ability in emergency situations, excellent communication skills; ability to work independently; ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling; motor coordination to work with equipment.

NEW! Infection Control Practitioner: Care Management Department.  Part-time 24-hours/week, days. Applicant must possess Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred; current and valid license with IDPR; minimum of three years clinical experience with a in a wide variety of experience clinical care settings preferred. Certification in infection control   (CIC) obtained through APIC preferred and required within two years of hire. Position requires accuracy and attention to detail; good communication skills; ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling; motor coordination to work with patients and equipment.                 

RN Perioperative Coordinator:  Surgery Department.  Fulltime, days with call. Applicant must have diploma, Associates of Bachelors’ of Science Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing with one year of previous experience in a surgical setting. Candidate must have current and valid license with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation and current CPR, PALS and ACLS certifications preferred and required after one year of employment. Registered Nurse: Emergency Department.  As-Needed PRN position.  Applicant must possess Diploma, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in nursing; valid and current license with IDPR; current CPR, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP and ECRN preferred and required after one year of employment; one year of ED experience required. Candidate should have current and valid license with IDPH and ACLS and PALS is preferred and required after one year of employment. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.

Certified Nursing Assistant: Family Acute Care.  Part-time 32 hours a week 3-11 shift and 24 hours a week nights, rotating weekends. Applicant must have high school diploma or equivalent and have successfully completed Certified Nurses’ Assistant course; enrollment in a school of nursing program and previous nurse aid experience preferred. Candidate must be willing and able to complete training as required. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.

Pharmacist:  Pharmacy Department.  Part-time, one weekend per month.  Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited pharmacy program and be licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Professional Regulation to practice pharmacy. Candidate will be required to have critical decision making ability in emergency situations; computer word-processing skills; good communications skills and the ability to work independently. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, and motor coordination to work with equipment.

 Speech-Language Therapist:  Rehabilitation Services; As-needed PRN position, possible Saturdays.  Graduate of an approved school of Speech Therapy; licenses or license eligible in the State of Illinois as required by law.  Good interpersonal communication skills; ability to work independently; ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling; motor coordination to work with equipment and understanding of rehabilitation and medical terminology. 

Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA):  Medical Rehabilitation Services.  As-needed PRN position.  Candidate must demonstrate competency in Occupational Therapy through previous work experience and/or student/clinical affiliations; maintenance of competency through active participation in continuing education courses; graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy or of OT Assistant; licensed.  Candidate must possess good interpersonal communication skills with understanding of rehabilitation and medical terminology and ability to work independently.  Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.
