NON CLINICAL POSITIONS:
Patient Advocate/Compliance Assistant – Full time, days. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong analytical skills with attention to detail, must be proficient in Word and Excel and adapt easily to other software programs, ability to work independently; ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling; motor coordination to work with equipment. Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience in business or healthcare related field is required.
Dietary Aide: Dietary Department; 8 hours per week; days/evenings/weekends. Experience in quantity food preparation preferred. Applicant must possess good communication skills, ability to work independently, ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling and motor coordination to work with equipment.
Customer Service Representative: Perry Home Medical ; 8-hours per week; weekday(s). High school graduate; DME experience preferred; CNA or Medical Technician training preferred; one year experience in bookkeeping and/or retail sales; valid, current CPR certification; valid current driver’s license. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.
Linen Worker: Perry Plaza; working on an As-Needed Basis. Applicants must possess good communication skills, ability to work independently. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling and motor coordination to work with equipment.
CLINICAL POSITIONS:
Speech-Language Therapist: Rehabilitation Services. As-needed basis, possible Saturdays. Graduate of an approved school of Speech Therapy; licenses or license eligible in the State of Illinois as required by law. Good interpersonal communication skills; ability to work independently; ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling; motor coordination to work with equipment and understanding of rehabilitation and medical terminology.
Medical Technologist : Laboratory Department. Full time, evening shift, rotating weekends. Candidate must be licensed and registered by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. Candidate must possess critical decision making ability in emergency situations, computer word-processing skills, good communication skills and the ability to work independently. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling and motor coordination to work with patients and equipment.
Physical Therapist OR Physical Therapist Assistant: Medical Rehabilitation Services; full time day shift with rotating weekends. Candidate must posses degree and be licensed as Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant. Candidate must demonstrate competency in Physical Therapy through previous work experience and/or student/clinical affiliations and will be required to maintain competency through active participation in continuing education courses, and must have understanding of rehabilitation and medical terminology. Position requires good interpersonal communication skills and ability to work independently. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling; and motor coordination to work with equipment.
Registered Nurse: Emergency Department, part-time 20 hours per week, evenings, rotating weekends. Applicants must possess an Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in nursing; valid and current license with IDPR; current CPR, ACLS, PALS, TNS or TNCC preferred and required after one year of employment. One year of acute care nursing experience preferred. Candidate must possess basic computer skills, good interpersonal communication skills and ability to work independently. Positions require ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.
Registered Nurses: Family Acute Care Unit, 3 Positions: Full-time, night shift, 40 hours a week, Full-time evening shift, 40 hours a week, rotating weekends AND Part-time, night shift, 8 hours a week, rotating weekends. Applicants must possess an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in nursing; valid and current license with IDPR; ACLS and PALS preferred. Positions require ability to work independently; ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling; motor coordination to work with equipment.
Certified Nursing Assistants: Family Acute Care; part-time 24 hours a week, nights, rotating weekends AND part-time 24 hours a week, evenings, rotating weekends. Applicants must have high school diploma or equivalent and have successfully completed Certified Nurses’ Assistant course; enrollment in a school of nursing program and previous nurse aid experience preferred. Candidates must be willing and able to complete training as required. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant / Occupational Therapist: Medical Rehabilitation Services; As-Needed Basis. Candidate must demonstrate competency in Occupational Therapy through previous work experience and/or student/clinical affiliations; maintenance of competency through active participation in continuing education courses; graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy or of OT Assistant; licensed. Candidate must possess good interpersonal communication skills with understanding of rehabilitation and medical terminology and ability to work independently. Position requires ability to use proper body mechanics when lifting, pushing and pulling, ability to understand oral/written instructions and motor coordination to work with equipment.
